I suggest a clean contemporary framing style for most of my prints and posters. I typically use a white wood frame with a narrow face, approx 3/4″ wide. The white border of the print serves as a mat, so no mat cutting is needed. Have the print dry mounted at your local framer, and use the dimensions of the paper for the frame size. An 1/8″ spacer can be used to separate the print from the glass.
For a more classic look, especially on some of my “Places” images, I often use a black frame in either metal or wood. Use the same instructions as per the white frame at left.
